Ahmed Samir Launches the Fifth Edition of the Egypt Mini Football Cup

Mr. Ahmed Samir Suleiman, Vice President of the International Mini Football Federation (IMF) and President of both the Egyptian and Arab Mini Football Federations, officially launched the fifth edition of the Egypt Mini Football Cup for the 2024–2025 season. The event took place at the Ezz El-Dekheila Club Stadium in Alexandria.

The opening match, which saw Ezz El-Dekheila face off against Nasser Club, ended in a sweeping 7–0 victory for Ezz El-Dekheila, with player Gamal Mabrouk scoring an impressive super hat-trick.

The opening ceremony was attended by several notable figures, including:

• Major General Tarek Hassan – President of Alexandria Zone

• Mr. Osama Sayed – Board Member of the Federation

• Mr. Ahmed Nahla – Administrative Director of the Federation

• Eng. Ali Abdo – Board Member of Ezz El-Dekheila Club

• Mr. Ayman Moftah – Board Member of the Club

• Dr. Gamal Mabrouk – Executive Director of the Club

• Captain Mohamed El-Husseiny – Head of Referees Committee in Alexandria

• Mr. Mohamed Karam – President of Nasser Club

• Mr. Mohamed Al-Qassas – Vice President of Nasser Club

• Captain Karim Yasser – Secretary of the Referees Committee

📊 The tournament also featured other thrilling matches:

• A 2–2 draw between 15 May Club and Habib El-Kol Academy

• Kafr El-Aloo Youth Center defeated Hadaeq El-Qobba Youth Center 4–3

• El-Gamaliya Youth Center won 5–2 over Arab Ghoneim Club

📌 The teams have been divided into four groups. The top team from each group will advance to the semi-finals, ultimately competing for the title in the fifth edition of the Egypt Mini Football Cup.

In his speech, Ahmed Samir affirmed that the federation is steadily progressing, achieving unprecedented success in a short time—from national tournaments to international achievements, such as winning the African and Arab championships and ranking fourth in the world in both youth and women’s categories.
